The Need
For over 25 years, IJM has pioneered the work to protect vulnerable people from violence.9 out of 9 times in the last decade, IJM’s Justice System Strengthening Projects have reduced slavery and violence between 50 and 85% forvery largepopulations of people in poverty. As we grow to expand our impact to protect 500 million people from violence, we are seeking aPhilanthropyProgram Manager, Venture Counciltospearhead the strategic direction of IJM's flagship principal donor engagement program. This role will shape the creation and management of the program's initiatives and key priorities, in partnership with the Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, and in direct support of the team’s revenue goals through our Capital Campaign.
This position is hybrid (onsite Tuesdays & Thursdays) iflocatedin the Washington, DC area or remote for non-local candidates. It reports toSenior Vice President of Strategic Partnershipsand is only available for candidates with the right to work in the US.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end program management, ensuring excellence in recruitment, onboarding, and engagement experiences such as quarterly calls, working groups, and in-person events;
Develop and execute a two-way engagement journey that provides highest quality, executive level offerings andleveragesthe skills, industry experiences, and networks of sophisticated investors;
Collaborate with fundraisers on recruitment and engagement to create a pipeline and a community that attracts sophisticated philanthropists, well-connected investors, and hospitable and generous community-builders.;
Ensure key program activities and information is visible to all stakeholders through the management of the Venture Council website, internal SharePoint and other team-oriented tools, Campaign reporting mechanisms, and other reporting channels;
