Our esteemed client has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager in a well established manufacturing environment. This is a full-time position with benefits.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partner directly with Sales Team to support RFQ/RFP processes.
- Establish detailed project plans to implement a road map for project success.
- Provide regularly-scheduled written & oral updates to cross-functional teams & executives.
- Establish key stakeholder relationships to influence outcomes.
- Work with Estimator to prepare quotes.
- Prepare quotes, Bills of Material, & all molding recommendations specific to parts.
- Report activities, issues, and RFQ/RFP works in progress into the Engineering department.
- Manage an average of 12+ Manufacturing Engineering projects simultaneously & effectively.
- Leverage strong written & communication skills to influence other employees.
- Achieves project deadlines via quality, continuous improvement & organizational approach.
- Projects leadership skills cross-functionally to achieve project/company goals successfully.
- Partners with cross-functional teams, vendors & clients to ensure project success.
- Drives change management activities pertaining to company projects.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering concentration preferred
- 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering
- Plastics industry background required
- Medical & Aerospace experience highly desirable
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- IQMS highly desirable
- Lean Manufacturing experience highly desirable
- Exposure to 5S and Six Sigma preferred
- CADCAM experience necessary
- Exceptional oral & written communication skills

Work Environment:
- Work performed in a shop environment.
- Regularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes and noise.
- Flexible work hours may be considered with prior management approval.
- Foreign & domestic travel is possible, approximately 10% of the time.
