About the Opportunity
Healthy Workplaces is a registered charity raising awareness of the importance of activity in the workday, through initiatives including Tour de Office and Step Forward. These programmes have driven over $1.3 million in fundraising for Australian charities. We're offering an internal team member the chance to take on a paid side gig supporting our September Step Forward event, working across sales outreach, event coordination and light admin.
Time commitment: A few hours per week, flexible.
Pay: Circa $300 per week - across 10 hours.
Arrangement: Internal, side-gig, alongside your current role. This sits outside your existing role, so the expectation is you'll manage it outside standard work hours.
You'll be responsible for
- Reaching out to potential Step Forward hosts to help populate the September event
- Managing the sales outreach pipeline
- Sending invoices
- Providing light touch customer service
- Contributing to social media and content creation, including EDMs
- Building relationships with hosts, sponsors and charity partners
- Helping raise brand awareness for Healthy Workplaces
- Handling light admin
- Supporting internal promotion and event organisation
- Optional: getting involved in board meetings and reporting, if this is of interest
About You
- Comfortable with outreach and sales conversations
- Organised, with strong follow up
- Good written communication, for invoicing, social content and light EDM work
- Confident building relationships with corporate stakeholders and sponsors
- Genuine interest in workplace wellbeing and community fundraising
- Keen to build experience in sales, brand, event coordination or governance
- Bonus if you've used tools like Canva or social media schedulers, but not essential
