Summary:The Tutorisresponsibleforhelpingprogramparticipants by providingacademicsupportrelatedtopreparation to the State Regents Exams. The Tutor will work one-on one with each studentassignedor small groups to support student subject content readiness. Subjects focus: Algebra OR USHistory,Global History OR Living Environment OR English LanguageArts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may beassigned.
- Follow proposed working hoursschedule
- Arrive on time and ready towork
- Sign In and Out upon arrival anddeparture
- Provide one on one support to studentsassigned
- Track and record students receiving support (using sign in sheets and/or onlinetool)
- Assist Programs in their administrative tasks such as: answering the phone, faxing, filing&organizing
Position Type and Expected Hours ofWork:
Days and hours are generally Monday to Friday11am-4pm.

Qualifications
Education and/or experiencerequired:
- High School Diploma or GED, working towards AA or BA degree, aplus.

- Successfully comply withDOE
- Excellent interpersonal and communicationskills.
