Brief Position Summary
The Philanthropy Assistant will be primarily responsible for supporting Vice President of Philanthropy in the execution of meeting coordination, scheduling, and follow up. Additional support may also be provided to the Philanthropy leadership team, carrying out similar functions as well as the Executive Assistant to the President & CEO on campaign-related meetings.
The Philanthropy Assistant must manage their work efficiently, with confidence and competence. The person in this position must be comfortable working within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. A flexible mindset, sense of urgency, ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and willingness to pitch in are highly valued.
Starting Salary is $55,000
Responsibilities
- Coordinate meetings and schedules for internal and external meetings for VP of Philanthropy, Senior Director of Philanthropy, and Senior Director of Philanthropy Operations with additional support to the Executive Assistant to the President & CEO as needed.
- Track meetings and pending meetings, to ensure follow-up actions are completed and tracked in Salesforce.
- Provide administrative support to Philanthropy leadership team, including making travel arrangements, dining reservations, creating collateral packets, etc. in support of donor meetings.
- Provide additional administrative support as schedule allows including crafting correspondence and conducting data entry.
- Actively participate in building organizational and team culture aligned with the Trust's values.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education
Experience
- 2-3 years' experience in a non-profit fundraising environment.
- Prior scheduling experience .
- Expert experience with MS Outlook and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Database management software experience - Salesforce preferred.
