You have\:
-Proficiency in full stack Python; experience with technologies such as Git, Cloud, Java, Angular, Salesforce
-Excellent communication skills, with the ability to synthesize, simply and explain complex problems to different types of audiences with varied technical skills.
-Prior exposure to working cross-functionally with global teams of product managers, engineers, designers, project managers, and other senior stakeholders.
-Must be a self-starter and team player with experience collaborating with global, virtual teams.

Morgan Stanley’s Global Tech Philanthropy program provides opportunities for tech employees to share their highly specialized skills and expertise within their local communities. We do this through a suite of programs including youth mentorship, hackathons for social good and tech pro bono projects. As part of Technology’s Chief Operating Office, the Global Tech Philanthropy Program Technical Lead will serve the critical function of managing all the technologies needed to support the growing portfolio of the tech for good initiatives. The Technical Lead will oversee and drive all technical aspects of new and existing tech for good initiatives designed to attract, assess, develop, inspire, and retain a highly engaged technical workforce.

You will\:
Manage existing risk with the growing tech for good portfolio by\:
-Providing oversight of all technical aspects of the tech pro bono program, Tech Change Makers, by:
-Conducting end-to-end review of project scope, delivery timelines, and technical aspects of existing and new MS Tech Pro Bono Partnership Agreements.
-Conducting review of existing volunteer operating environments, especially open source and cloud, to ensure compliance with Firm policy, and drive process improvements,
-Driving migration of relevant code to open-source through MS GitHub OSS process.
-Create and lead quarterly tech workshops for volunteers to learn about new tools.
-Provide ad hoc technical support to pro bono projects struggling to deliver on key deliverables to external charitable stakeholders, preventing risk to MS brand.
-Providing centralized technical guidance and oversight of Codeathons for Good suite by:
-Provide technical support to local hackathon Core Teams as they scope technical challenges with nonprofit partners, plan participant experience, and execute event(s).
-Provide regular technical updates to Global Tech Philanthropy Steering Committee, relevant Working Groups, and other leadership stakeholders.
-Collaborate with cross-functional, cross-division stakeholders to formulate tech policy, operating protocol, and best practices for hackathon participant coding environments, assessing and integrating new software tools, where appropriate.
-Owning relevant vendor onboarding, management, customizations, and maintenance
-Support Tech Philanthropy’s and Tech COO’s global program initiatives and identify areas of technical automation or risk mitigation.
-Manage Tech Philanthropy’s Salesforce instance which enables employee volunteer processes and data management
-Maintain a strong understanding of how technology can help social good organizations address operational challenges and enable them to better drive their missions.
-Leverage programs, processes, and stakeholder interactions to drive an atmosphere of inclusivity and belonging in alignment to Firmwide Diversity and Inclusion goals
