Job Summary:
Coordinates the fundraising programs of the Philanthropy Office, including individual philanthropy (major and planned gifts, direct mail appeals, Internet outreach), Foundation and Corporate giving and special events. Works with other management staff in creating a philanthropic culture throughout the Board, its consultants and the advisory council in order to achieve a continuing increase in fundraising results.

Education and Work Experience:
- High School Education/GED or equivalent: Required
- Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
- Five years' related experience: Preferred
Essential Functions:
- Coordinates efforts to maintain and build private Foundation support. Coordinates all philanthropy activities. Helps with the planning and development of the philanthropy budget. Implements new strategies to enhance the organization’s relationships with business leaders.
- Coordinates the implementation and follow-through of all fund raising events and ensures events are strategically positioned to improve donor relationships. Opens communication on all levels of the organization by keeping donors and the public informed, thanked and involved.
- Works with department management to maintain appropriate gift accounting and acknowledgment, computer system operations, gifts and grants record management, planned gift distributions, donor stewardship and integration with the organization's data systems.
- Coordinates staff communications and ensures increased giving opportunities. Coordinates interdepartmental communications regarding philanthropy efforts.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
