We’re hunting for a Grateful Patient Advisor Lead, someone who’s ready to be part of the best ranked children’s hospital in Texas, and among the best in the nation. In this position, you will be responsible for managing the health, composition, and ongoing activity of a portfolio of assigned grateful family prospects/donors for Hospital through the creation, implementation, and management of a grateful patient program. Primary responsibilities will include creation and management of a grateful patient program focused on key areas within the Hospital, researching new donors, developing a strategic plan to procure donors, and then assisting in executing the plan to include partnering with key stakeholders to educate clinical and administrative leaders. As part of the overall Philanthropy team, the Grateful Patient Advisor Lead will ensure coordination with colleagues on marketing/promotional, design and brand matters related to grateful patients.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Leads all aspects of a grateful patient program for Hospital.
• Develops and implements a comprehensive plan HIPPA-compliant system for grateful patient identification, solicitation, and stewardship.
• Identify and build relationships with clinical and administrative leaders for assigned areas.
• Coordinate training and educational initiatives of the program for key focus areas.
• Defines and incorporates innovative strategies and best practices to be used in communication materials, direct mail, and electronic appeals.
• With Annual Giving, implement direct mail and digital campaigns to engage and solicit support from grateful patients and families.
• Develop program metrics designed to measure effectiveness of the grateful patient program including pipeline movement, physician referrals and fundraising goals.
• Manages program budget, goals, and objectives in alignment with organizational goals.
• Benchmark program against peer institutions.
• Develop strong engagement strategies for fundraising volunteers to secure donor funds.
• Maintain a portfolio of grateful patients and develop a process to successfully move grateful patients into gift officer portfolios.
• Coordinate with other colleagues across practice to ensure consistency of practices.
• Required bachelor's degree
• Required 8 years Fundraising experience in direct individual fundraising
• Preferred 3 years' experience working with a grateful patient program or similar fundraising position.
