Compensation:

In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this position is posted with this position. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Role Summary: Supervisor-Post Adoption Services Program- Hybrid Remote 60% and in office 40%

Wayfinder provides free post-adoption services for adoptive families throughout California. The services strive to support and bring families created by adoption together in a supportive environment and assist in creating a supportive network in their local communities. PAS offers a variety of support groups, classes/trainings and social events for families. The program supervisor will provide general oversight and contract management of the Post Adoption Services for adoptive families in 17 Northern California counties.

This position will be based out of Citrus Heights, California with the possibly of a hybrid/telework option in the future.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for delivering and coordinating Post Adoption Services to clients and families as defined by the contract, and CDSS department standards. Such services are inclusive of, but not limited to, budget management, supporting staff and families who are is crisis and developing individualized support plans with families.

The supervisor will be responsible for the contract management and general oversight of services such as:

Warmline
Support and Discussion Groups
Family Consultation
Resource Libraries and Trainings
Information and Referrals
Social Events
Family Funding to support child activities, therapeutic and respite needs
Advocacy

Also responsible for providing adoption competent services for families and ensuring social work staff are delivering adoption competent, and trauma informed services consistent with established standards of practice. Additionally responsible for timely and accurate monthly and quarterly reporting to County/CDSS partners, including Regional Managers as necessary.

Qualifications

Education/Certifications:

California LCSW desirable

Experience:

At least two years of supervisory experience, including budget management experience is preferred.
Education and training in adoption competency; completed the full year Training for Adoption Competency (TAC), a strong plus
