Seeking GNA/CNA with Certified MED TECH
Part Time 7:00 am- 3:00 pm every other weekend
Pay: $18.50 - $21 depending on experience

Job Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), one (1) to minimum (2) years of clinical nursing experience required. Geriatric Nursing Assistant certification and Certified Medicine Tech certification required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Incumbent should be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form, possess high-quality verbal and written communication ability, strong customer service and interpersonal skills, and be knowledgeable in restorative and medical nursing principles and practices.
Medical Duties Performs general medical care functions and assesses residents' vial signs on a daily basis.
Obtains shift report from previous shift nurse and begins rounds within 20 minutes of beginning of shift. Checks on each assigned resident and assesses needs of care.
Responds to residents' calls for assistance within 15 minutes of notification. Documents assessment of need in response to call.
Takes temperature, pulse, and respiration as directed by the unit nurse and records information.
Measures intake and output on residents as directed; records and reports the findings appropriately, noting any irregularities.
Records resident bowel functions, noting irregularities.
Collects urine specimens as directed by the charge nurse and sends off to lab for processing.
Applies splints as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
Medical Administration
Provides medication on a regular basis to residents in the Assisted Living Unit.
Administers resident's prescribed medications on a daily basis to include transdermal patches, nebulization with inhalation medications, and pills.
Reviews assigned resident charts to ensure the proper medication is administered at the proper time.
Checks and tidies medication cart daily and reports any supply of medication issues to the Charge Nurse.
