We are seeking Personal Care Assistants to join our Bayside team, on a permanent basis covering morning and afternoon shifts. Reporting to our Registered Nurses, our PCAs are responsible for providing quality care and recreational activities to our beloved residents.

About the Opportunity
Personal Care Assistants are responsible for providing quality care, support and recreational activities to our home's residents.
- Provide care in line with resident's individual care needs
- Identifying any changes to a residents needs and escalating these to the RN
- Report all incidents and changes in resident behaviour to the RN
- Complete all documentation and ensure compliance with relevant processes
- Delivering Person centred care enabling them to live their best life
- Establish supportive and positive relationships with residents
About You
The successful candidate must demonstrate the following:
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent
- Experience caring for people living with Dementia (desirable)
- Commitment to working a minimum of 4 shifts per fortnight with the flexibility to pick up additional shifts
- Minimum of 6 months work experience as an PCA within the aged care sector or disability services is desirable
- Experience with Dementia preferred
- Reliability and flexible with a strong commitment to work
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and team members
- Strong passion for working with the elderly
