Salary: $19.00 - $21.00 hourly
POSITION SUMMARY
Property Maintenance personnel, under direct supervision of the Property Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the conformity of all applicable Federal, State, County and local building laws, rules, and regulations. Property Maintenance personnel will possess a strong work ethic who can identify potential opportunity and enhancement to the services provided by the program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Safety
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of facility property, adhering to the "Good Neighbor" policy. Ensure passageways, stairways, inclines, ramps, and porches are free of obstruction;
- Maintain the safety of all resident rooms, staff offices, and communal space including structure, plumbing, and electrical;
- Adhere to all safety laws and rules; and
- Communicate and adhere to program policies and procedures and model professional rapport in accordance with the Casa Base/Casa Raphael Operations Manual.
Maintenance
- Maintain the cleanliness of staff offices and other rooms including multipurpose room and staff kitchen on a daily basis;
- Repair or replace reported maintenance requests in a timely manner upon receipt of Work Orders; and
- Ensure that the safety of residents will have the highest priority and that repairs will be addressed immediately upon receipt of the Work Order.
Inventory
- Maintain tool and supply inventory on a daily basis; and
- Maintain an adequate surplus in quantity of room linens according to the Casa Raphael/Casa Base Operations Manual.

- Frequent standing, walking, reaching, lifting and stooping;

QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to follow policies and procedures as established in the Company's Employee Handbook. Candidates will also contribute to a positive work environment by behaving and communicating in a manner such that they get along with all constituent groups, co-workers, and management.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Requires the basic writing and math skills obtained with a High School diploma or GED and a minimum of a combined two (2) years of lived experience, and at least one (1) year of practical job experience; and
- One (1) year of property maintenance experience to include carpentry, plumbing, and electrical in a commercial environment.
Certification
- CPR and First Aid certification, preferred.
KEY SKILLS SET
- Ability to act as liaison with partner agencies;
- Familiarity with fast fast-paced residential industry and multi-facility operation;
- Strong leadership and work ethic; and
- Bilingual speakers of any language, preferred.
EQUIPMENT AND APPLICATIONS
- Basic proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and
- Working knowledge of all standard office equipment,
- Working knowledge of general power/hand tools.
