We are seeking a dedicated friendly Food Services Assistant, ideally with Aged Care experience, to join our close knit team at Doutta Galla Queens Park Home in Moonee Ponds.
The shift pattern will be: Tuesdays 1430-1900, Wednesdays 0700-1400, Thursdays 0700-1400, Fridays 1430-1900 and Sundays 1430-1900

About the role:
As a Food Services Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high quality hospitality service and catering support to our residents. As part of the role you will be predominantly:
- Assisting with meal preparation and presentation
- Delivery and serving of resident meals
- Cleaning of kitchens, dining rooms and other food areas
What you will bring:
- Experience in an Aged Care kitchen environment and food services
- A passion for providing quality, relationship based individual service
- Current Food Handling/Food Safety Certificate
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Food Safety regulations, guidelines, standards and relevant legislation
- Knowledge of OH&S and infection control specific to catering
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and as part of a team
- Effective and positive communication skills
- Excellent time management is essential
