In support of PPCWNY’s mission, the IT/Shared Services Project Coordinator has responsibility for leading several strategic special projects throughout the agency.
Essential Functions
Projects
- Creates and executes work plans for IT/Shared Service projects including initial research, white papers, feasibility studies, budget and timeline creation, project management, project reporting, and project close outs
- Keeps meeting minutes, roll call, coordinate’s scheduling of meetings with other team members and follow up accordingly
- Convenes and leads cross-departmental/cross-affiliate work groups for IT/Shared Service projects as needed
- Collaborates with newly identified projects from other departments
- Regularly communicates cross-affiliate information of ongoing projects, updates, possible security updates as needed; participates in quarterly Shared Service meetings
Affiliate Relationships
- Builds, fosters, and expands affiliate relationships with members of the Planned Parenthood community, including, but not limited to professionals and leaders of (potential) collaborating entities and (potential) institutional funders across the region(s)
- Acts as a liaison between PPCWNY, PPNCNY, UHPP and other PP Affiliates as applicable in execution of Shared Service projects and otherwise as directed
- Convenes regular affiliate meetings as needed to ensure communication and feedback
Other Accountability Activities
- Performs other duties as assigned

Applicants must possess the following qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience):
Education—
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field
Experience—
- 3 years of experience in a non-profit project management
- Demonstrated organizational skills are required
- Knowledge of project management software, (i.e. collaboration tools, MS Office programs, Microsoft Office 365/Teams is required.)
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Must have experience working well both independently and as part of a team with other departments and community organizations; familiarity with healthcare organizations preferred
- Must possess the ability to work with changing priorities and simultaneously handle multiple projects
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to support meetings and activities and travel to other sites when needed

Work ScheduleThis is a full-time, 40 hour a week, position; regular schedule will be Monday – Friday with occasional evenings and weekends.
Benefits & CompensationAt PPCWNY, we are committed to equitable compensation practices and transparency. In alignment with these efforts, the pay for this position ranges from $24.76 to $26.06/hour.
