This part-time, hourly position is for M-W 3pm-8:30pm
Job Description:
Additional duties may be assigned per specialist (I.E. Specialist 1 cleans Chlorinator weekly)
Focused Duties: lead the beginning in-service activity and 500 yard swim, Administer Drop tests (with integrity please do not try and be deceptive), leadership when it comes to being available to answer questions, can implement 35 minute downs to get everything accomplished, contribute to annual review for life guards, Admin work: Check weekly assigned admin tasks (check mark them off), Can help conduct interviews for rehires/hires, get guards certified and can go over hours once approved with Tara.
Certifications: The Hopes of CPO & LGI certified
Continue to earn certifications and maintain certifications
Get a new certification this year
Member interaction:
Learn member’s names
Start to recognize and greet members
Vigilance:
Increase time standing or walking rather than sitting
Reduce talking during busy times
Be alert at all times (Drop Requirements)
Communicate Shift Changes
Cleaning:
Check daily log and cleaning list every shift
Taking initiative in completing one duty or task each shift
Risk Management:
Arrive on time to relieve lifeguards
Watch for dangerous behavior that you can stop
Having confidence in correcting bad behavior
