We are on the lookout for a motivated and experienced Senior Account Executive to join our sales team. This role is perfect for someone with a robust background in driving outcomes for software, SaaS, or marketing/social services solutions. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving our business growth, managing complex sales cycles, and expanding our client base, all while reporting to our Director of Sales and supported by our Chief Evangelist
What does a Senior Account Executive at GoodUnited do?
- Drive sales of our software and service solutions, focusing on closing deals and expanding our client base.
- Manage complex sales cycles from prospecting to closing, ensuring a smooth and effective sales process.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Demonstrate resilience, intellectual curiosity, and emotional intelligence in all aspects of the role.
- Showcase extreme ownership and a positive attitude, while being self-aware and open to growth and development.
- Preferably sell new categories or disruptive solutions to new logos, expanding our market reach.
- Operate comfortably in a high-growth or start-up environment, adapting to a fast-paced and ambiguous setting.
What experience and skills does a Senior Account Executive need in order to be successful?
- 3+ years of experience in an end-to-end SaaS software sales position
- 3+ years of experience selling to nonprofits required
- Proven track record of managing a full sales cycle including sourcing through document signature
- Experience in selling new categories or disruptive solutions to new clients is highly preferred.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth, or start-up environment.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English, both spoken and read.
- Strong emotional intelligence, grit, and intellectual curiosity.
- A team player who is positive, proactive, and eager to take ownership of their responsibilities.
- Ability to effectively communicate and report to senior management in a remote setting.
