The Account Manager [Non-Profits] role at Chrysalis Services is NGOs focused and will work closely with the Key Account Manager[Corporates] of Chrysalis Services. He/she will be reporting to the HEAD [Resources & Programs].
He/she is responsible for handling the assigned NGOs’ Accounts, aid in the development of fundraising strategy, working hand-in-hand with the assigned NGO partners and the Key account Managers to ensure giving out timely, accurate information and strategies in line with the fundraising needs and the quality deliverables.
To be a Hands-on professional who has the ability to translate the activities/ programs/projects of the assigned NGO Partners into proposals for presenting into the Key Account Manager for approaching potential corporates.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of communication between the NGO Partners and Chrysalis team. In turn liaise with the Key account Manager – Corporates, Communications team or the consulting services team within Chrysalis Services as the need may be.
Responsible for achieving the CSR fundraising targets for the assigned NGOs.
Develop the NGO partners fundraising and Go-to-Market strategy (for IFR partnerships).
Coordinate with NGOs of all on-going donor funded projects, assist in resolving any issue faced by them and deal with complaints to maintain trust.
Research and identify other funding opportunities to be pursued by the NGO.
Research corporate prospects to assess their interest and alignment with NGOs mission & program areas.
Work with NGO Program team to identify gaps in the funding portfolio and work closely with NGO Program team members to support the development of proactive concept papers that are marketable to Corporates.
Cross-selling the Chrysalis offerings of proposal writing, due diligence, social media communications, report writing and any new services launched by Chrysalis to the assigned NGOs.
Maintain a library of proposals. Manage and Maintain Donor Data, Donor correspondence, agreements etc.
Organize and conduct regular meetings with NGO Partners to discuss in detail, the success and achievements against agreed targets, carry out in depth reviews of unsuccessful proposals to identify reasons and lessons learned. Document, share and develop plans to address identified weaknesses and suggest areas of Improvement.
Develop key pitch presentations to introduce the work of the NGO, train Key account managers (Corporate) about NGO Partners’ programs and Projects.
Work towards achieving key fundraising targets and also make sure to increase the corporates’ support to existing programs or expand support to new programs by convincing Key Account Manager to up-sell and cross-sell pitches for his/her assigned NGO partner.
Conduct a comprehensive analysis and a timely detailed discussion with Key Account Manager to assess the feasibility of securing multiyear and thematic funding for the assigned NGO Partners.
Contribute to the development of various audio-visual materials and documents in coordination with the Communications Vertical which would strengthen resource mobilization efforts.
Responsible for creating, writing and sending out/ present proposals and concept notes in Coordination with the Consulting services vertical.
Responsible for retention of the NGO and Renewal of Contracts.

Preferably MSW/MA with specialization in Community development, Development studies
Minimum 2-3 years’ work experience in social sector
