Position: Director of Operations
Overview:
Are you a seasoned operational leader with a passion for driving organizational growth and efficiency? Computers 4 People, a distinguished non-profit dedicated to bridging the digital divide, is seeking a Director of Operations to spearhead our operational functions. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for overseeing accounting, payroll, human resources, financial management, and program oversight, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Additionally, you'll collaborate closely with a finance firm to optimize financial strategies and processes.
Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
- Lead and manage all operational functions, including accounting, payroll, human resources, financial management, and program oversight, to drive organizational excellence and impact.
Financial Oversight:
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities, maintaining fiscal integrity and transparency across the organization. Collaborate with a finance firm to optimize financial strategies and processes.
Payroll & HR Management:
- Manage payroll processing, benefits administration, and HR-related responsibilities, fostering a supportive and compliant work environment.
Non-profit Financial Expertise:
- Utilize your expertise in non-profit financial management to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maximize funding opportunities.
Program Oversight:
- Collaborate with program managers to set and monitor program goals, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and impactful outcomes.
Team Building:
- Build and cultivate a high-performing operations team, providing guidance and support to drive excellence in execution and service delivery.
Budget Development & Grant Management:
- Develop budgets and reports for various state, federal, and foundational grants, playing a key role in securing and managing funding to support our mission-driven initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA preferred.
- Proven experience in operational leadership roles, preferably within the non-profit sector, with a strong understanding of accounting and financial management principles.
- Demonstrated expertise in payroll processing, benefits administration, and HR functions, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
