What will you be doing in your role?
- Research, develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan to meet the organization’s annual revenue goals.
- Research and oversee new fundraising initiatives and unique programs to support revenue growth.
- Identify and cultivate annual gift prospects, as well as corporate and event donors.
- Work closely with the events team to engage donors and raise funds for the organization through sponsorships and underwriting.
- Manage and lead a team of fundraising professionals, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- You are accountable for the functions performed by your team to support the overall mission of the agency.
- Collaborate with the Communications team to develop and execute effective donor communications and marketing materials.
- Work closely with the Head of Advancement to develop fundraising strategies and goals.
- Monitor, analyze and audit fundraising data to evaluate performance and adjust strategies as needed.
- Be responsible for individual donor portfolio and cultivation of annual giving donors.
Are you the next Director of Annual Giving?
- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, with a proven track record of success in annual giving, corporate giving, planned giving, and event giving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write compelling donor communications and marketing materials.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience managing a team of fundraising professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, Board members, and volunteers.
- Experience with fundraising software and donor databases.
- A deep commitment to the mission and values of our organization.
