- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Human Services related field and/or CASAC.
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience providing direct services and/or care coordination to individuals with mental disabilities, developmental disabilities, alcoholism, or substance abuse.
- Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year's experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds.
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience.
- Thorough working knowledge of local and regional public and private resources, including Social Security, Department of Social Service Adult Protective Unit, Income Assistance Unit, and other relevant agencies and offices.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Licenses/Certificates/Clearances:
- Valid N.Y.S. Driver's License.
- NYS driver's license check.
- Criminal background check.
- State Central Register Clearance.
Skills:
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
