The successful applicant will be an essential component of the office. Some of the ongoing initiatives of the office include: public benefits advocacy (Food Stamps, Medicaid, Unemployment Compensation, TANF, Childcare Assistance), assistance to victims of domestic violence; victims of elder abuse/exploitation; consumer\contract\collection issues; debt relief; landlord-tenant matters; and legal assistance to long-term care residents, to name a few.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will work closely with the Regional Operations Manager. Daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to providing ancillary typing; file maintenance, scanning and organization; upkeep of office library and forms room; communication with clients; back up the receptionist; and assist with grant reporting, community education materials and bulk mailings.
