With registered nurses and care staff at our homes 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The Terraces, a 148 bed residential aged care facility located in Varsity Lakes. It is near the beautiful beaches of the Gold Coast, as well as several shopping centres, schools, public transport, restaurants and a vast range of health and community services.
About the Opportunity
As a Lifestyle Assistant you'll be responsible for providing support and assistance to residents in meeting their individual lifestyle goals, needs and choices to enhance their overall quality of life. You will promote wellness, independence, social connections and recreation activities based on the needs and interests of our residents.
- Assist with the design, delivery and monitoring of group and individual lifestyle services activities and complementary therapies for residents
- Coordinate individual and group activities and therapies
- Ensure recreational activities, therapies and documentation comply with Aged Care Standards and relevant Acts, legal and ethical standards
- Work part time 3 days per week, 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm weekdays and leave coverage.
About You
To be successful, you'll need:
- Cert IV in Leisure and Health or Cert 3 in Indvidual Support (essential)
- Previous experience in Aged Care (preferred but not essential)
- Availability and reliability to commit to required shifts
