We are currently in search of an Annual Fund & Grants Manager for an Early Childhood Organization. This position is based in Chicago- Evanston. This is a Full-Time, In-Person, Temporary opportunity.

POSITION TITLE: Annual Fund & Grants Manager
SCHEDULE: 32 hours/week (4-days/week in office)
DURATION: Temporary (~6-months)
HOURLY RATE: $30.00- $33.00
Is This Your Dream Job? The Annual Fund & Grants Manager is responsible for coordinating solicitations and stewardship of individuals, foundations, and corporations donations/ grants. The Manager will spend 40-60% of their time in prospecting and writing of private grants and will build a portfolio of annual, renewable grants.
Our Ideal Candidate:
· 4+ years experience in fundraising, writing, and securing grants
· Experience with Salesforce
· Excellent communication skills, oral and written
· Bachelor's degree
How You Will Spend Your Day:
· Develop and execute an annual fundraising plan on how the organization will solicit donors and identify funding sources including grants, appeals, and event sponsorship.
· Research, write, and track proposals and reports for private foundation and corporate giving prospects.
· Establish and maintain files that describe organization’s history, background, current programs, description of population served, and annual outcomes.
· Create and execute mailings and email communications to sustain base of annual individual donors, for example Year-End Appeal, Annual Report, and Spring Appeal, and Giving Tuesday.
· Oversee and coordinate production of one annual fundraising event, with the Board Development Committee, and other small donor events as opportunities arise.
· Ensure strong brand compliance as it relates to communications, advocacy, community partnership, storytelling and family engagement activities.
· Assist with planning, measurement, and creation of program marketing strategies and assets including electronic and print newsletters, website maintenance, and social media posts, along with annual family event.
· Manage the implementation of Salesforce for fundraising, contact management and acknowledgement letters.
· Generate a range of donor and prospect reports related to fundraising outcomes and measurements for board meetings and to individuals tracking outreach and results.
· Other duties as assigned.
