The Humane Society of Summit County is currently looking for Veterinarians to join their team on a part-time, full-time, or contract basis. In this role, veterinarians will have the opportunity to work both within the shelter and participate in their low-cost mobile clinic, providing essential spay and neuter services to animals in need.
Collaborating with experienced Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs), Veterinary Assistants, and Program Coordinators, veterinarians will work alongside a dedicated and knowledgeable team. Together, they will ensure the delivery of high-quality care to animals within the shelter as well as those in the community.
One of the appealing aspects of this position is the flexibility it offers. Veterinarians can choose to work 5-6 hour shifts a few days a week or explore full-time opportunities that come with benefits. This allows for a work schedule that can accommodate personal preferences and other commitments.
Furthermore, this role minimizes client interaction and eliminates billing responsibilities, allowing veterinarians to focus primarily on providing spay and neuter services. This allows them to concentrate on their core veterinary responsibilities without additional administrative burdens.
Overall, joining the Humane Society of Summit County in this capacity provides an opportunity for veterinarians to contribute to the welfare of animals, work with a supportive team, and enjoy the flexibility and benefits that come with the position.
