General Description
Under general supervision, provides coordination for residential programming, staff, and delivery of service. Maintains confidentiality and ethical standards as identified by CASAC, 42 CFR Part II, the NYS Health Department, NASW and other relevant governing bodies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Provides ongoing evaluation and development of program activities to assure quality and effectiveness of services.
o Develops program goals and objectives on an annual basis and monitors their implementation and gathering of appropriate data.
o Management of delegated budget.
o Submits required reports and statistics in a timely manner.
o Informs AVP of Restart Services of significant program, staff and client issues through regularly scheduled and informal meetings.
o Is available on call for all clinical issues, 24 hours/day.
· Coordinates staff assignment, delegation of authority, in-service training and communication within the program.
o Recruits, provides orientation, supervises and evaluates program's clinical staff.
o Assures staff development to address individual staff and program needs for growth of clinical skills and improvement in client service.
o Continues to develop relevant professional knowledge through attendance at conferences, reading, etc.
o Oversees client record keeping in compliance with appropriate regulatory agencies.
· Communicates with appropriate Agency staff, community and criminal justice agencies to assure ongoing and effective referrals into program.
o Participates in Agency meetings, management meetings, departmental meetings, staff meetings, case review and supervision.
o Serves as Agency representative for relevant community groups and committees.
· Awareness of and active support of the Agency's Mission, Vision, Values and Strategic Plan. Including, but not limited to, supporting the Agency's Core Competency initiatives of being Collaborative and Community Focused, Innovative and Entrepreneurial, and Culturally Competent and Diverse.
· Other responsibilities as requested by supervisor
