Position Summary:
The Compliance Associate will report to and work at the direction of the Compliance Officer to implement quality assurance practices including incident reporting, policies and procedures, and training within the Catholic Charities Childcare program. The Compliance Associate will support the development and maintenance of the Compliance Department infrastructure to address licensing, risk, and compliance issues.
The position will perform in accordance with the principles of Catholic Social Teaching and follow professional code of ethics. It will comply fully with all relevant licensing, certification, legal standards, HIPAA and other applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Review practices and procedures to ensure quality care and health and safety for all children.
- Assist in reviewing processes for child transition between buildings and classrooms.
- Assist in the preparation for licensing reporting, reviews, and audits as assigned.
- Forward final notification of successful completion of CAP for filing with the contract.
Assist with monitoring and quality assurance for the Incident Reporting process.
- Data entry of incident reports into case management system.
- Assist with development and implementation of training for staff and managers.
- Assist with tracking and documenting incident reviews.
- Monitor implementation of corrective action to address risk issues identified.
- Provide support for quality improvement activities resulting from review of incidents to address underlying issues.
Assist with Quality Improvement Activities for Early Learning programs.
- Attend and/or facilitate program-based quality meetings and assist with minutes.
- Assist with implementation and execution of quality improvement projects, as assigned.
- Complete record reviews/auditing and risk assessments of Early Learning programs to assure quality of care and compliance with program and contract requirements.
Perform other Duties as assigned.
- Enhance professional development by identifying pertinent opportunities that contribute to compliance and safety for the organization
- Participates in annual performance and professional development review with the Catholic Charities Compliance Officer

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Management, Social Work, or comparable degree from an accredited college or university, or comparable experience in compliance.
Experience
- Experience with best practices in Early Learning is preferred
- Expertise in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Compliance experience with administration, program evaluation, licensing and quality assurance

- Strong verbal communication and writing skills
- Ability to work with diverse groups and programs
- Team player working collaboratively with early learning, behavioral health, and administrative teams
