What You’ll Do
In this leadership role, you will drive fundraising efforts, create partnerships, and provide strategic direction concerning fund development. You’ll be a part of the leadership team and report to the Executive Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a fundraising plan to meet established goals and objectives.
- Identify potential fundraising channels;
- Lead all aspects of annual giving and the major gifts program; execute strategies to identify, solicit, steward, maintain, and enhance donor base and prospects.
- Effectively communicate the benefits of CyberUp’s services, creating awareness and demand for CyberUp’s services and giving opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with the Executive Director, Board of Directors, and other appropriate staff in implementing and coordinating development efforts.
- Responsible for the management, execution, and marketing of fundraising events
What We Are Looking For
We’re seeking a collaborative and engaging personality with excellent communication skills. This person will thrive in a team culture and be highly organized and a self-starter. Knowledge of the St. Louis philanthropic community is preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in individual giving, solicitation of major gifts development, corporate sponsorship, and event planning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google for Nonprofits, Bloomerang database donor software, or similar products.
- Reliable transportation for travel mainly throughout the St. Louis region but also throughout Missouri periodically for donor visits and other meetings.
Compensation
The range for this position is $65,000-75,000/year.
Benefits
CyberUp pays 75% of health, dental, and vision for the Employee and their Partner.
We offer a 401K and match 50% of the first 5% of Employee contribution; not to exceed 2.5% of compensation, whichever is less.
Employees accrue up to 15 days per year in PTO in their first year of employment plus 14 holidays.
This is a salaried, exempt position with an expected average of 40 hours per week.
