PARTNERSHIP & MARKETING COORDINATOR, FLYERS CHARITIES

Overview:
Flyers Charities is looking for an organized, team-oriented, driven individual. This opportunity is for those interested in non-profit and community work. They will assist the Flyers Charities team with new and ongoing projects focused on raising money to support local families impacted by cancer and growing the game of hockey to new and diverse audiences in the Philadelphia area.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day to day relationships with charitable partners, including;
- Creating reports to track progress of charitable program progress
- Managing communication and relationship between partners and Flyers Charities
- Assisting with the coordination of partnership community events
- Manage day-to-day promotion and administration of Flyers Charities Scholarship program
- Oversee the application process, payment, and communication to recipients of scholarship
- Facilitate outreach and develop relationships with local rinks, community organizations, and scholarship recipient families
- Assist with creating copy and content to share through Flyers Charities’ platforms
- Track and report successes of scholarship program and its recipients
- Manage coordination of yearly grant program
- Create, update, and maintain application platform for grant program
- Track and share applications with Senior Director and ED for review and approval
- Manage award and decline communications
- Assist with creating content to share partnerships and success stories
- Track and report success of program
- Assist in execution of marketing plans
- Manage Charities design requests through Basecamp
- Assist with strategizing and organizing content for Flyers Charities to amplify through multiple platforms
- Organize game day promotions
- Manage Game Day sheets in collaboration with Game Presentation and Flyers Event Manager
- Support Mystery puck program, keeping inventory of pucks and assisting with promotion of Pucks
- Support Calendar program and additional fundraisers throughout the season
- Support Administrative Duties
- Support Charities email inbox and phone lines
- Assist with event coordination and day-of event set up
Minimum Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience managing multiple projects, adapting to changing schedules, finishing tasks quickly, and meeting deadlines
- Must be a highly detail-oriented, self-motivated communicator who follows direction and functions well in a dynamic environment
- Must be available to work evening and weekend hours on an as needed basis
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds
- Must have a vehicle or access to a vehicle
