We are looking for Support Workers with the passion to work with our fantastic team in our Cardiff Autism Centre. Ideally, you will have a background in supporting autistic people but if not, we have a fantastic training programme that will get you on your way to achieving a fulfilling job that will beat most out there.
Our Cardiff Autism Centre (including Ty Ddraig, Ty Yfory and Ty Mor) provides a range of quality, personalised support for autistic adults offering a wide variety of opportunities. The centre is a move-on service providing educational, work and social opportunities to build on attained independence and skill levels. We promote Person-Centred Planning to seek the opinions, wishes and choices of people who access the centre, as well as working on shared outcomes derived from the Social Care Wales personal outcomes framework.
The role includes:
- Helping individuals achieve independence and personal goals
- Supporting and transporting individuals to integrate into their community
- Develop individuals home making skills and personal chores
- Transforming lives and achieving results for autistic adults
Job Description
