ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct outreach in the community to raise public awareness of the disaster case management program and connect with local agencies to identify all resources available for the program.
- Participate in local meetings and events to build relationships between community members, local officials, and local organizations as needed.
- Maintains open lines of communication with all organizations providing disaster recovery resources.
- Complete and continuously update database of all community agencies and local resources available for disaster survivors to assist clients in their road back to pre-disaster self-sufficiency.
- Serves as community liaison between Catholic Charities and local entities who desire to provide services to disaster survivors.
- Responsible for database maintenance and development, including researching, updating, and maintaining community resource database files to ensure integrity and reliability of information.
- Participate in related program, organization and community meetings as assigned.
- Maintain proper client and program documentation.
- Represent the program and organization at outside meetings as needed.
- Attend meetings and training programs, as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years professional experience.
- Previous experience in disaster recovery preferred
- Other relevant experience will be considered.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and managerial skills.
- Highly motivated self-starter with ability to produce results without extensive supervision.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple complex tasks.
- Ability to convene and lead meetings.
- Existing knowledge of state, county, and local community-based agencies servicing disaster survivors highly preferred.
- Existing knowledge and understanding of Disaster Case Management requirements and case planning.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to speak Spanish, Tagalog, or Cantonese is preferred.
- Must be able to read and write English
- Ability to communicate clearly in both verbal and written forms.
- Demonstrates the necessary attitudes, knowledge and skills to deliver culturally competent services and work effectively in cross-cultural situations.

Is responsible for accurate and timely data entry that aids Performance and Quality Improvement (PQI) reporting and case record reviews.
Is responsible for accurate and timely submission of case records.
Serves on a quarterly case record review committee for Performance and Quality Improvement
Serves on department or program Performance and Quality Improvement PQI Committee responsible for monitoring goals and reporting.
