About Role
Peepul
is seeking a Project Manager– Gender Mainstreaming in Madhya Pradesh who will
provide research, coordination, and operational support to the ProgrammeManager – Gender based out of Delhi. The role
will contribute to implementation of gender initiatives, capacity-building
activities, monitoring and reporting, and stakeholder coordination. It is an
opportunity to gain hands-on experience in advancing gender equity within
education programs and at an organizational level.

Peepul is seeking a Project
Manager– Gender Mainstreaming in Madhya Pradesh who will provide research,
coordination, and operational support to the ProgrammeManager – Gender based out of Delhi. The role
will contribute to implementation of gender initiatives, capacity-building
activities, monitoring and reporting, and stakeholder coordination. It is an
opportunity to gain hands-on experience in advancing gender equity within
education programs and at an organizational level.
Responsibilities would
include (but not be limited to):
Programmatic & Operational Support
- Assist in integratinggender-responsive and inclusion approaches
into program activities and operations.
- Support Lead reviews of classroom practices,
community environment, and learning materials through a gender and inclusion
lens.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for
gender-related initiatives.
Monitoring
& Data Management
- Collect and maintain gender sex-disaggregated data
from programs.
- Support preparation of trackers, dashboards, and
reports on gender action plan progress.
- Contribute to donor and leadership reporting on
gender-related initiatives.
Capacity Building & Communication
- Coordinate workshops, sensitisation sessions, and
training on gender equity.
- Develop documentation, case studies, and awareness
materials to highlight gender integration.
Support communication of gender work internally and
externally.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with internal teams to gather inputs for
gender-related projects.
- Support coordination with external consultants,
partners, and government stakeholders.
Project Management Support
- Assist in tracking project deliverables, budgets,
and timelines.
- Ensure smooth execution of activities under the
Gender Policy and Action Plan.

Qualifications and Role Requirements:

who possess the following qualifications and meet the role
requirements:
- Qualifications: Bachelor's
degree in Gender Studies, Social Sciences, International Development, or a
related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Work Experience: We
value both professional and personal experience. Candidates
with 4-6 years of relevant experience in project
management, with specific exposure to gender mainstreaming, social inclusion,
or equity-focused programs. Additionally, a good understanding
of gender concepts, intersectionality,frameworks, and
tools which apply to government entities and familiarity with
the Indian education system is highly desirable.
- Soft Skills: Strong
written and verbal communication skills in English (and local language, if
applicable). Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, with
the ability to build trust and influence across diverse
groups. Proactive, reliable, collaborative and willingness
to learn.
- Language Proficiency: English
and Hindi
