Bethanie Community provides a wide variety of services to
clients covering day to day living needs in their own homes
including personal care, domestic and gardening services, respite
services and social support in Geraldton, Perth and in the South
West.
We are seeking a Qualified Support Worker to join our
Bethanie Community Mid West team in a permanent part -time role.
You will work a minimum guaranteed 10 hrs per week supporting areas
within the Geraldton area. You are required to be
available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 2pm –
6:30pm.
About the role:
- Professionally deliver a variety of services (including
food, laundry, personal care, leisure, supporting hobbies and
interests & domestic cleaning)
- Ensure all living areas of clients’ homes are kept clean
and tidy, and safe from hazards
- All personal care tasks and outcomes are met and documented
appropriately
- Support customer with transport to appointments
- Provide social support to customers spending time doing the
things they love
Whilst we require you to use your own car, we offer a generous
travel allowance of $1.05 per kilometre.
About you:
- Cert 3 in Individual Support
- Previous experience within an Aged Care, or Community Care
environment is desired.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a
team
- Ability to ensure safety and wellbeing of clients are
maintained
- Drivers licence, and access to a reliable vehicle
- Current Police Clearance, or willingness to apply for
one.
- Proof of at least one covid vaccination and the 2026 flu
vaccination, or willingness to obtain.
