Join Our Health Communications Talent Pipeline!

At Altarum, our Palladian Partners team works with federal health agencies to develop communications strategies and campaigns that help people make informed decisions about their health.

We are building a pipeline of experienced, mid-career health communications professionals who may be a strong fit for future Communications Project Management opportunities supporting federal public health clients.

About the Potential Opportunities

Professionals in these roles may lead or support integrated health communications initiatives involving:

Public health education and awareness campaigns
Strategic communications planning
Audience research and message development
Content, creative, digital, and outreach initiatives
Client and stakeholder engagement
Project planning, budgeting, and deliverable oversight
Coordination across internal teams, partners, and subcontractors

Responsibilities, level, client assignment, and timing will depend on the specific opportunity.

What We're Looking For

Candidates will bring approximately 5–8 years of relevant experience.

We are interested in professionals with experience in health, public health, or social impact communications who can:

Lead complex, integrated communications projects and campaigns
Build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders
Manage scope, schedules, budgets, deliverables, and competing priorities
Guide cross-functional teams across strategy, content, creative, digital, research, and outreach
Translate client needs into clear plans and actionable recommendations

Experience supporting federal government clients, particularly agencies withing the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is highly valued!
