WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview):
The American Red Cross is seeking a Finance Analyst I to participate in a rotational program to groom them for future leadership positions. Selected individuals will start at the Analyst I level and will immediately enter a rotation through approximately three to four finance teams spending about six months learning and contributing in each (the first rotation may be 9-12 months for training). Teams may include:
- The Field Finance team that supports the finances of our local regions
- The Training Services Finance and Analysis team
- NHQ Finance Program lead functions such as support to fundraising, domestic disaster, international services, Services to Armed Forces, or IT
- Biomedical (focused on blood products) operations and supply chain finance team
- The Biomedical recruitment and collections team.
Under close supervision, assist with the collection and analysis of data from organizational units. Support the preparation of financial plans and/or financial analysis. May provide business leaders with financial forecasts to support short and long-term decision making. Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers.
Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable Federal, State, and local regulations.
