Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Accounting Clerk to fill in for a parental leave. <\/span>The successful candidate will be processing invoices and expense reports in a fast -paced, deadline -driven environment and must be highly organized with the ability to prioritize.<\/span>

Duties and responsibilities:<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

- <\/span><\/span><\/span>Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment;<\/span>
<\/p>

- <\/span><\/span><\/span>Code invoices and enter transactions in accounting program;<\/span>
<\/p>

- <\/span><\/span><\/span>Process invoices (from vendors and locals) and prepare cheque or Electronic Fund Transfers (EFT) payments within short deadlines and assist with other invoices as necessary;<\/span>
<\/p>

- <\/span><\/span><\/span>Process expense reports and Concur expense reports;<\/span>
<\/p>

- <\/span><\/span><\/span>Process Diners Card expenses and prepare the corresponding Journal entries;<\/span>
<\/p>

- <\/span><\/span><\/span>Process retirees dues;<\/span>
<\/p>

- <\/span><\/span><\/span>Ensure monthly and other reports are submitted on time with accuracy;<\/span>
<\/p>

- <\/span><\/span><\/span>Other duties as assigned.<\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>

<\/span><\/span><\/span>Diploma in Accounting;<\/span>
<\/p>

- <\/span><\/span><\/span>3 -5 years of experience working with ACCPAC, focusing on AP modules in a similar role;<\/span>
<\/p>

- <\/span><\/span><\/span>Strong time management skills and ability to solve problems;<\/span>
<\/p>

<\/span><\/span><\/span>Ability to juggle multitask with accuracy while working in a fast -paced environment;
<\/span>
<\/div>

- <\/span><\/span><\/span>Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Office, specifically with Excel;<\/span>
<\/p>

- <\/span><\/span><\/span>Highly motivated self -starter with ability to work independently as well as in a team environment’<\/span>
<\/p>

- <\/span><\/span><\/span>French written and oral would be considered an asset;<\/span>
