Stanford University has an immediate opening for a Salesforce system administrator/analyst in the Office of Accessible Education (OAE). The OAE is the department within the division of Student Affairs which centers its work on case-by-case accommodation determinations and programmatic development for furthering accessibility and inclusion on campus. We are charged with facilitating reasonable accommodations for students with disabilities in academic and residential life.
This is a hybrid position integrating the responsibilities of a systems administrator and IT business analyst. The OAE is seeking a Salesforce Trailblazer who is excited to support the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our CRM as we continue to expand processes, automation, and functionality to support the delivery of mandated accommodations for students with disabilities at Stanford. Reporting to the director of technology and collaborating with the teams within the OAE, this role will be part administrator, part analyst, part user support, and never boring!

In this role, you will:
- Build, install, configure, monitor, analyze, tune, and troubleshoot Salesforce (and all related platform and data integrations) to achieve optimum performance levels.
- Analyze new business requirements, assist with feasibility of enhancement requests, system functionality, current system use and user needs.
- Specify functional analysis and design to recommend solutions and resolve difficult system problems and provide consultation or training.
- Coordinate and implement new or modified business systems.
- Perform testing of new systems, upgrades and patching of existing systems; plan, conduct and document results of testing.
- Manage hardware, software, and utilities for installation, modification, troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades of operating systems and workstation environments.
- Configure and assist in the design of system and network security.
- Monitor and analyze resource usage to recommend/develop enhancements to system capabilities and performance.
- Compare, evaluate, and implement new technologies, and integrate systems into the computing environment.
- Analyze data and provide data sets to users for analysis. May include development of operational and analytical reports for end users.
- Document systems infrastructure for users, support and consulting personnel, and developers.
- Liaise with external vendors or partners in support of business systems, which may include system development, implementation and/or operations.
- Other duties as assigned.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree and five years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
- Fluency with the principles and practice of Salesforce Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud customization and configuration.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, and handle and prioritize simultaneous requests.
- Ability to work well independently and as a team member.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to synthesize and articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical users. Ability to explain applications and system fundamentals to others.

In addition, preferred qualifications include:
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Salesforce-related technologies like Education Data Architecture (EDA), FormAssembly, Conga, and GoMeddo.
- Salesforce Certifications.
- Experience with other business process SaaS, such as Tableau and AdobeSign.
- Experience with non-profit or higher education organizations preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills including an ability to oversee a wide variety of activities, to anticipate pitfalls, to propose and implement effective solutions, while being able to set and re-adjust often competing priorities.
- High level of energy, flexibility, and the desire to continue learning.
Working Conditions:
- This is a remote work eligible position. Onsite days may be scheduled, as needed, to meet departmental needs.
- This position requires occasional work on evenings and weekends.
