JOB SUMMARY: Serve as the Regional Supervisor/Lead Case Manager (RS/LCM) for the Home Studies and Post Release Services (HSPRS) Program funded by USCCB, which includes being responsible for day-to-day supervision and management of program services, coordinating with the Program Director in program planning, staff supervision/training, program budget monitoring, and other administrative duties as assigned. Also provides direct case management services to clients in the USCCB HSPRS Program.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Monitor the daily operations of the program including the processing of intakes and evaluations for entry into the program, case plan development and implementation, collaboration with other service providers, length of stay, management of complex cases, and implementation of aftercare services.
- Conduct home visits.
- Write professional, thorough assessment reports.
- Develop and leverage knowledge about family preservation, kinship care, and/or general child welfare as well as local community social services and resources for immigrant populations.
- Provide administrative support and mentorship to the program staff.
- Collaborate with Program Director on staff Performance Evaluations
- Oversee scheduling of staff time including coordination of time off requests.
- Assist program direct service staff with complex cases and handle client, landlord, and vendor complaints, ensuring timely resolution.
- Complete quarterly program service reviews to ensure proper documentation and quality of services. Ensure contract outcomes are routinely tracked, monitored, and reported as required.
- Represent the program on county and internal committees as requested, provide community education as assigned, serve as a liaison to agencies the program partners with, and maintain relationships with agencies, landlords, vendors, and the welfare board.
- Monitor program expenses and ensure compliance with funding source requirements.
- Provide the Program Director and/or Service Area Director regular report of assessment regarding contracted outcomes and levels of service.
OTHER DUTIES: Other related program tasks as assigned by the Program Director. Willingness and ability to work flexible hours if needed.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Strong writing, assessment and documentation skills as well as the ability to make independent decisions are required. Should be knowledgable about family preservation, kinship care, and/or general child welfare as well as local community social services and resources for immigrant populations
SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS: Must possess proven experience in program management, provision of direct services to diverse populations, and knowledge of community resources and entitlement programs. Must demonstrate the ability to work along with and supervise others.
