Tidewell Foundation, a part of Empath Health is seeking a Director of Philanthropy.

What you'll Do
- The Director of Philanthropy works closely with the President of the Tidewell Foundation to plan and implement strategy for annual, major, planned gifts, events and data base manager, targeted giving programs through strategic donor relationship management (identify, cultivate, solicit, steward, upgrade) to meet short- and long-term goals of the organization.
- Working with donors, volunteers and staff, the Director of Philanthropy plays a critical role in increasing individual donor and foundation support and acts as an ambassador for Empath Health across the community.

What You'll Need
- Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree (from four-year college or university (master’s degree and or CFRE preferred); 7-10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Manages a personal portfolio of approximately 125 -150 donors and prospects, fundraising goal of $500K+ annually, and follows-up through personal visits, phone calls and written communication to achieve reaching personal financial goals.
- Supervisory experience required, including oversight of a minimum of 2 Full Time staff members and volunteers.
- Fundraising experience required and related work experience, including working with volunteers and leading committees.
- Experience and proficiency with The Raiser’s Edge and all Microsoft systems including Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
- Ability to create and write proposals, presentations, foundation grants and donor materials including development of case for support materials.
Location:
This position is a hybrid role that will be based in the Tidewell Foundation area and will require travel throughout the region.
