An established NPO requires a Senior HR Generalist to provide full HR support across its divisions, ensure policy and legislative compliance, and promote consistent people practices. The role advises management and staff and helps build an engaged, ethical, and high -performing workforce aligned with the organisation’s mission.This is a permanent role based in Sandringham JHB and the working hours are

Responsibilities
<\/div>
Employee Relations and Compliance:
<\/div>
Provide expert advice and support to managers on all employee relations matters.
<\/div>
Facilitate disciplinary and associated processes in accordance with the LRA and company policy.
<\/div>
Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices are up -to -date, accessible and consistently applied across entities.
<\/div>
Drafting of policies, addendums and staff communication in line with legislative changes and operational practices.
<\/div>
Maintain compliance with labour legislation, BCEA, EE, and POPIA requirements.
<\/div>
Hold responsibility for Employment Equity goals, ensuring EE and Skills Development reports are submitted timeously and monitoring and implementation of EE plan.
<\/div>
Ensure HR POPI policy is adhered to and create processes in support of this.
<\/div>
<\/div>
Recruitment and Onboarding:
<\/div>
Manage end -to -end recruitment for mid - to senior -level roles, including job profiling, advertising, shortlisting, interviewing, and offers.
<\/div>
Conduct salary surveys and draft REMCO approvals accordingly.
<\/div>
Coordinate and facilitate onboarding, orientation, and induction programmes to ensure seamless integration of new hires.
<\/div>
Partner with managers to forecast talent needs.
<\/div>
Oversee creation of talent pools.
<\/div>
<\/div>
Learning, Development, and Culture:
<\/div>
Coordinate training programmes and track participation and outcomes.
<\/div>
Promote the organisation’s values, ethics, and culture across teams.
<\/div>
Support HR projects such as employee wellness, recognition, and engagement initiatives.
<\/div>
<\/div>
HR Reporting and Projects:
<\/div>
Prepare HR metrics and reports.
<\/div>
Hold responsibility for full project management cycle of HR projects, from conception to implementation.
<\/div>

Supervisory tasks:
<\/div>
Coach, guide, support and train HR Generalist (The HR generalist reports into this role).
<\/div>
Ensure divisional outcomes are achieved through overseeing staff task execution.
<\/div>

General:

Resolve staff queries as they arise.
<\/div>
Advise managers on array of HR issues and best practice.
<\/div>
Assist HR Manager and Group Manager : People with execution of HR deliverables, initiatives and goals

Conduct exit interviews

Requirements<\/h3>

Qualifications and Experience:
<\/div>
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, or equivalent.
<\/span><\/li> - 8–10 years’ generalist HR experience, with at least 2 years at a senior and supervisory level.
<\/span><\/li> - Experience in a complex, shift -based, multi -entity or nonprofit environment - advantageous.
<\/span><\/li> - Solid working knowledge of HR systems, and MS Office Suite.
