Why This Role Matters
As the Early Learning Director, you’ll lead the overall operations of our early learning childcare program—creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children, families, and staff can thrive. You’ll guide a talented team of early learning professionals, implement the YUSA Creative Curriculum, and ensure excellence in licensing, accreditation, health, and safety.

Qualifications
What You Bring
To be considered, candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, Recreation, or a related field (or equivalent)
- 3–5 years of experience in a licensed, certified, military, or tribal childcare program with significant responsibility for:
Curriculum development and implementation
Staff supervision, training, and development
Ability to meet all pre-employment requirements upon hire, including:
Drug and alcohol screening
Criminal background check
Tuberculosis (TB) test
CPR/First Aid Certification

In this dynamic role, you will:
- Lead and manage daily operations of a licensed early learning childcare facility
- Ensure the safety, well-being, and positive development of all enrolled children
- Supervise, mentor, and support a team of teachers and early learning professionals
- Recruit staff, interview families, and facilitate trainings, meetings, and professional development
- Oversee budgets, forecasting, and financial accountability for the program
- Maintain accurate program files, records, and statistical data
- Ensure proper staffing coverage with qualified teachers and assistants
- Build strong relationships with families, community partners, schools, and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with all licensing, regulatory, and accreditation requirements
- Promote program growth, quality, sustainability, and community engagement
