Social Impact Lead
Office Locations: Melbourne, Hobart, Traralgon & Burnie
As a Social Impact Lead, you’ll be a key point of contact for the Corporate Affairs function, providing strategic leadership across social impact, sustainability, stakeholder engagement, and community programs.
You’ll:
- Lead the development and implementation of social impact and sustainability strategies aligned with organisational priorities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with communities, First Peoples, advocacy groups, and key stakeholders.
- Design and oversee programs related to community investment, social procurement, inclusion, and local employment.
- Develop measurement frameworks, KPIs, and reporting for social performance and sustainability outcomes.
- Identify social risks and partner with cross-functional teams to implement mitigation strategies.
- Influence organisational culture to embed social responsibility, inclusion, and shared value across decision-making.

You’ll Need
- Degree qualification in social sciences, sustainability, public policy, community development or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience delivering social impact, CSR, community engagement, or sustainability initiatives in complex or regulated environments.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Experience developing strategy, managing programs, and delivering measurable outcomes.
- Knowledge of social performance standards, First Peoples engagement principles, and Australian regulatory frameworks.
- A high level of computer literacy.
