Opportunity Overview: Rental Assistant
Boys & Girls Clubs of King County has many large facilities around King County. When our Clubs are not in session with Club Members, we rent our facilities out to others who need the space. This could include community meetings, gym or basketball court rentals and more. This position supports the Club by providing services and assistance to renters of our facilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Majority of shifts are on nights and weekends.
- Responsible for unlocking facilities for renters.
- Provide assistance to renter for set-up, if necessary
- Answer questions about the facilities or rental policies
- Ensure renters are following Club rules and upholding rental agreement terms
- Provide assistance to renter for clean up, if necessary
- Responsible for locking the facilities and securing the Club once renters have left
- May be asked to perform additional duties as needed
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- High School diploma, GED, or currently enrolled in school
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Successful completion of National Criminal History Background check
- Attention to detail
- Professional presence with strong customer service skills
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Must be willing to work on a flexible schedule
LICENSE/CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENTS:
- Current CPR and First Aid Certifications preferred but not required
HOURS:
Part time, requires weekends and evenings depending on need of the facility.

This position works in an office, and the noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, i.e. copier toner.
