The Role
Ronald McDonald House Washington DC is hiring a hands-on Marketing Manager to run day-to-day marketing execution in a lean, two-person Marketing & Communications team.
This is an execution-first role. You’ll turn strategy into accurate, on-time output across email, website, digital fundraising and social media. Strong judgment, sharp QA instincts and calm problem-solving are essential.
This is not a junior role.
This is not strategy-only.
Ownership and hands-on production is required.
How the Team Works
- The VP Marketing & Communications sets strategy, priorities, voice and standards and builds core templates and creative direction.
- The Marketing Manager executes, quality-checks, launches and keeps the marketing engine running.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, QA and launch multi-channel campaigns (email, web, digital fundraising and social)
- Deploy emails in Constant Contact including basic segmentation, list hygiene and pre-send QA
- Build and update donation forms and landing pages in our fundraising tools
- Publish and update website pages and posts in WordPress (and coordinate updates with our web partners when needed)
- Create, schedule and publish social media content across platforms
- Maintain marketing calendars, timelines, project trackers and documentation
- Catch errors before launch and flag risks early (broken links, wrong dates, missing approvals, brand compliance issues)
- Support campaign execution for key moments (events, giving days, year-end, partner activations)
- Follow privacy, photo release and brand standards across all channels

QualificationsRequired
- 5+ years of hands-on marketing or digital campaign execution experience
- Proven ability to execute multi-channel campaigns across email, website, digital fundraising and social media
- Strong email marketing execution skills (building, QA, scheduling, testing, list basics)
- Working knowledge of WordPress (updating pages/posts, landing pages, basic formatting)
- Excellent attention to detail with strong QA instincts (links, dates, brand standards, approvals, compliance)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently, meet deadlines and stay organized in a fast-moving environment
- Strong writing, editing and communication skills with a clean, accurate voice
- Comfort working in Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)

Preferred
- Nonprofit or fundraising marketing experience
- Experience with donation forms, fundraising landing pages and basic conversion tracking (UTMs, GA4 or similar)
