The Role
We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Lifestyle Officer to join our team on a Permanent Part-Time basis (60 hours per fortnight). If you are passionate about a person-centred approach to care, this is your opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.
As a Lifestyle Officer, you will be at the heart of creating joy and connection, designing and delivering meaningful activities that bring smiles, laughter, and a sense of community. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individual and group leisure activities that cater to residents' needs, abilities, and interests
- Develop and maintain personalized lifestyle care plans
- Engage with residents and their families to create a sense of belonging and inclusion
- Collaborate with the Lifestyle Team and care staff to support the holistic well-being of residents
- Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards
- Maintain secure and accurate care records
Qualifications and Experience: - Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Lifestyle Officer and/or Aged Care.
- Certificate III or IV in Leisure & Lifestyle (highly desirable)
- Certificate III in Aged Care (highly desirable)
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Currently hold an NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain)

Our Yaralla Place community is set in the heart of our well preserved colonial architectural town of Maryborough, just a short stepping stone from QLD’s pristine beaches and beautiful Hervey Bay. Our 96 bed home is divided into smaller households that mirror the look and rhythm of home with vast communal areas where our residents can enjoy their own homestyle lounge, dining and kitchen areas with a private backyard for their established gardens and veggie patches.
