Jefferson Land Trust seeks an inspiring and empowering Executive Director to lead our mission of working with the community to preserve open space, working lands, and habitat forever. The Executive Director will guide organizational strategy, support a talented and collaborative staff team, steward relationships with landowners, partners, and donors, and serve as a trusted ambassador for community-based conservation. This role offers an extraordinary opportunity to help shape the future of land conservation in Jefferson County on the Olympic Peninsula — one of the Pacific Northwest’s most beautiful and engaged regions.
We are looking for a humble, mission-driven leader and natural convener who brings people together around a shared love of place. The ideal candidate brings experience in the land trust world or a closely related conservation field, strong fundraising and relationship-building skills, and a collaborative leadership style grounded in respect, authenticity, and partnership.
