The NS Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (NSRCEL) is IIM Bangalore’s startup hub and incubation centre. The centre is structured as a section -8 not -for -profit entity. NSRCEL’s mission is to support ventures in the start -up ecosystem that demonstrate potential to create significant economic and societal impact. This financial year alone NSRCEL has engaged with 662 ventures through 13 unique program tracks across 82 towns

in the country.

NSRCEL is supported by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) and Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and foundations like Pernod Ricard India Foundation and SBI Foundation. NSRCEL has partnered with corporates like Alstom,

Capgemini, Unilever, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Maruti Suzuki among others.

Background to the role:<\/b><\/span><\/span>
<\/b><\/div>

NSRCEL has been focussed until now on early -revenue stage incubation, helping founders navigate from MVP to PMF. Many of our founders come back when they are confident of their PMF, in seeking assistance to now create break -out growth. We realise that the founder and organizational capability to reach PMF is very different from the ability required to create break -out growth. We have experimented with this need in small ways through the Fintech<\/span><\/span>

CoE, a circularity track pilot in partnership with Acumen, and a women -in -tech scale -up sub -track.<\/span><\/span>

NSRCEL is now creating a growth -stage track to address this. The objective is to help put these ventures on a 5x growth path in 3 years. The track will focus on growth stage ventures that have already achieved PMF, operational stability and early capital infusion. Some of the entry criteria for the track may be:<\/span><\/span>
<\/div>

• Rs 10 Cr+ or $ 6Mn in ARR<\/span><\/span>
<\/div>

• Pre -series A funded<\/span><\/span>
<\/div>

• Tech -enabled or tech -embedded<\/span><\/span>
<\/div>

• Operating in high -growth markets<\/span><\/span>
<\/div>

<\/div>

The responsibilities will:<\/b><\/span><\/span>
<\/b><\/div>

• Lead the ongoing Fintech CoE<\/span><\/span>
<\/div>

• Design and roll out a sector -inclusive growth stage accelerator<\/span><\/span>
<\/div>

• Design and implement track variants for women entrepreneurs and social impact enterprises<\/span><\/span>
<\/div>

• Track and deliver to impact outcomes<\/span><\/span>
<\/div>

What you will be doing<\/b><\/span><\/span>
<\/b><\/div>

The role will conceptualize, design, and execute the Growth Stage Accelerator.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/div>

This will include:<\/span><\/span>
<\/div>Defining the thesis and quantified outcomes of the track<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Creating and owning the design and execution from outreach and cohort selection to venture & founder outcomes<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Securing resources, partners, mentors, experts to ensure desired results<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Creating and owning the revenue and financial plan for the track<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>As part of the leadership team of NSRCEL you will play an important role in shaping strategic decisions for the centre and will serve as a spokesperson for the organization.<\/span><\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>

Master’s degree in management, engineering or sciences with 15+ years of <\/span><\/span><\/span>experience<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Experience in entrepreneurship ecosystem as a founder, investor, or incubation manager, with a deep understanding of startup ecosystem in India<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Ability to conceptualize incubation interventions that drive founder and venture outcomes<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Demonstrated financial and business leadership in fluid environments, accountability to revenue and profitability goals<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>Ability to build and lead high performing teams, collaborate with peers and partners<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>A passion for creating impact through the entrepreneurial ecosystem<\/span><\/span>
