- The Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at Ronald McDonald House Washington DC is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy to cultivate and maintain relationships with corporate partners and foundations. This role is vital in securing funding and resources that support the organization's mission to improve the health and well-being of children and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic plan for corporate and foundation fundraising that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with corporate and foundation partners to secure financial support and resources.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the organization's mission and impact.
- Manage a portfolio of corporate and foundation donors, ensuring timely and accurate reporting and stewardship.
- Work closely with the marketing and communications team to enhance visibility and awareness of partnership opportunities.
- Analyze fundraising trends and data to identify new opportunities and improve existing strategies.
- Represent the organization at external events and meetings to build and strengthen relationships with potential and existing partners.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines related to fundraising activities.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the corporate and foundation relations team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
QualificationsRequired Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate and foundation relations, fundraising, or a related field within a nonprofit organization.
- Proven track record of securing major gifts and building long-term relationships with corporate and foundation partners.
- Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans to increase revenue and engagement with key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and leading a team to achieve fundraising goals.
