EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience working directly with children and families in the areas of foster care and adoption.

STATUS:
Full-time; Non-exempt
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have excellent organizational, verbal and written communication, and inter-personal skills. Must demonstrate leadership tenants and the ability to work independently with children and families. Knowledge of Kinship Foster Care services and adoption preferred. Must possess excellent case management and client assessment skills. Must have the ability to work effectively and cooperatively with other professionals and service providers.

Permanency Preparation
- Keep track of and update permanency data weekly
- Assist with facilitating unit meetings
- Facilitate permanency meeting with CUA agencies and providers
- Review completed work for quality and accuracy
Home Compliance
• Provide a full range of emergency/temporary foster care services to foster parents (which include on-call rotation, crisis intervention services, assessment, placement, monitoring and transporting);
• Maintain cases per organizational caseload size (6-10 compliance homes)
• Maintain an additional caseload of general level (GFC) cases in agency partnered counties
• Recertify kinship and foster parents.
• Ensure resource stay in compliance according to DPW regulations
• Work on-call hours as directed;
• Interface with all service providers for the purpose of service delivery and goal planning meetings;
• prepare monthly progress reports, service plans and other reports are required by DHS/CUA, DPW, and the agency;
• Adhere to all other program and agency policies and procedures governing the objective of the agency and program.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License
- Registered and insured vehicle
- Certificate of Insurance for vehicle
- Valid PA Inspection (even if vehicle is registered in another state)
- Valid/Clean Motor Vehicle Record
- Current Act 33, Police Clearance and FBI Clearance
- Available to work flexible schedule (weekend hours as scheduled)
- City/County travel
- On Call
