- Provide peer delivered support, advocacy and training by meeting with families on a weekly basis or as driven by the Person Centered Plan. Assist families with connecting to community resources and navigating the multiple Systems of Care.

- Empower parents to reach their goals from their child’s treatment plan. Maintain a respectful, non-judgmental attitude toward the family and others.

- Facilitate Parent Support Groups internally and externally as requested by Parent Involvement Coordinator and Systems of Care on various initiatives. Assist with legal self-help services, walk in services and concrete services such as clothing and food; children’s programming and agency/program events.

- Participate in bi-weekly supervision and monthly joint supervisions
|
- Meet with families on a weekly basis
|
- Responsible for meeting direct service productivity and documentation standards per agency and program expectations
|
- Maintain consumer case record; prepare reports and correspondence with professionalism and in a timely manner
|
- Complete daily progress notes, and document health and safety issues; infectious diseases; and incidents and report to supervisor
|
- Practice and model Universal Precautions and educate consumers and families as needed
|
- Maintain professional growth and development by attending job related training to keep abreast of the latest trends in social service delivery
|
- Participate in administrative staff meetings, agency committees, and other projects as assigned
|
- Adhere to MiSide policies and procedures
|
- Adhere to MiSide code of ethics, and comply with local, state and federal laws
