DescriptionAt Griffith Centers our Behavior Line Staff is responsible for providing individualized behavioral and job coaching to help clients manage and reduce challenging behaviors, while teaching effective coping skills and supporting treatment goals. This role collaborates with therapists and caregivers, models appropriate behaviors, and ensures consistent, client-centered support across various settings.

- Salary range: $22/hr - $30/hr.

Responsibilities:
- Provides one-on-one behavioral coaching to manage, reduce, and change behaviors to achieve treatment goals.
- Provides one-on-one job coaching to support clients in various settings.
- Models appropriate behaviors, redirects when necessary, and assists with behavior management.
- Teaches coping skills, including when and how to use them to prevent escalation.
- Reviews and familiarizes oneself with member-specific protocols, services, and support plans.
- Informs and teaches host home providers and family caregivers about effective coping tools for each client.
- Collaborates with the primary therapist to review diagnoses, presenting issues, assessments, and setting treatment goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a Human Services field required.
- Previous experience working with adults with intellectual or developmental (IDD) disabilities preferred.
- One or two years demonstrated experience in the same or similar role preferred.
- Qualified Medication Administration Personnel Certification (QMAP), or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
- CPR and First Aid Certifications, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
- Safety Care certification, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Valid driver’s license and insurance with the ability to travel on behalf of the organization.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
